Hello, my name is Michael Paul Escañuelas. I write a weekly comic thing called Sidequests. I play and write music in the band The Motel Life. I have a BA in English, but I work as a web/graphic designer; odd living. When I'm alone, I love to read and play video games. This is a weekly comic strip I try to write so that I don't go insane or get depressed. They appear on this blog on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can check out the Comic Archive here.


I post a lot of other drawings and illustrations that are not comics on this blog too. They appear on here at random times during the week. I also have a lot of older drawings that are quite neat.


I sing for this band. We play a lot in the LA/IE area. Sometimes we tour and sometimes we record, but mostly we quote Walk Hard. You can check out our website here. I am working on stuff with just myself as well that I will post here sometime soon.
